New Hydrant Cost

All things considered, a new hydrant and installation will cost around $5,000.

Sometimes replacing the entire hydrant system is the  best route to take.

A new main valve assembly costs between $900 and $1,200 plus installation. 

In most cases, you can save money by fixing part of they hydrant.

This happened at a Chicago warehouse in January 2013. It took A LOT of water to do that and the brave firefighters couldn't have done it without a few working fire hydrants!
